I’ve spent over two decades on every side of real estate: corporate, sales, team building, recruiting. Today I lead a team with over $1.6 Billion in sales, have grown a network of thousands of agents at Real, and founded UNTD, one of the fastest-growing brand-agnostic communities in the industry.
Nothing was handed to me.
Raised by a single mom, we were often unsure where the next meal was coming from or what roof would be over our heads. I left home after high school, went to college and then got married young, becoming a Pastor’s wife in my early 20’s. In that season I battled infertility and the pressures of leadership, while building a full-time career in corporate real estate. When my marriage ended abruptly, I had no choice but to start over. Alone.
With just a couple thousand dollars to my name and a dream to rewrite my story and build a legacy for my nieces and nephews, I walked away from my secure corporate job to become a full-time agent and I haven’t looked back since.
For the last thirteen years, many have called me ‘lucky’. The ones who’ve watched me outwork every room I’ve ever been in know better.
Becoming an entrepreneur taught me how to build: a Top 1% real estate team, a national network of agents and team leaders and a community that unites our industry. From the countless leadership lessons to managing unbearable grief that shook our family, it’s been a decade of growth, mental toughness and even fear that could have broken me.
Today I earn 7 figures and I’m in the trenches with you. Selling, leading, building, failing forward. And more often than not, I still have weeks where I question it all.
